I’m very excited to share a German Development Institute Discussion Paper written by my colleague Katrina Munir-Asen, which explores refugee flows and urban integration in Malaysia. The case study is interesting in terms of how it frames the history of Malaysia’s refugee and migration policies, and what these policies have meant for protection rules and integration of new arrivals. I thoroughly enjoyed editing it, and hope it’s an informative read!
