My colleague Constantin Ruhe and I are organizing a workshop June 25-26 at the German Development Institute on forced migration. We’ll be hosting it at the Institute’s headquarters in Bonn, Germany, and as a first step in organizing we’ve put out a call for papers and posters.
The scope of the workshop will go beyond the normal academic structure. We’ll have paper panels and a poster session, but the participants will be a mix of academics and policy makers so the discussions will be geared toward how good science can influence migration policy, and vice versa.
We’ll have more details about the meeting, and the invited participants, in the coming month. For now we hope that if you’re doing interesting work in the forced displacement and migration spaces you’ll consider joining us at the end of June!
